MARY COUGHLAN
Widely praised as one of the greatest female singers to ever emerge from Ireland, Mary has – over the course of a remarkable career – crafted a unique, soulful sound that draws on folk, blues and jazz influences. Her breakthrough album Tired & Emotional sold a phenomenal 100,000 copies in Ireland alone. In addition to a phenomenal solo discography including 18 albums, the Galway-born legend has continued to showcase the various sides of her artistry – including appearances in Neil Jordan’s High Spirits (1988) and Breakfast On Pluto (2005); contributions to A Woman’s Heart 2, among other collaborations; and an acclaimed theatre production, Woman Undone. In October, she celebrated 40 years in music with the release of a new album, Repeat Rewind.

ORLA GARTLAND
Having initially built up a dedicated following through videos on YouTube, Orla has emerged in recent years as one of the country’s most dazzling musical exports – clocking up millions of streams, and sold-out tours of North America, the UK, Ireland and beyond. Her second album, Everybody Needs A Hero, was named Hot Press’s Album Of The Month upon its release in October. It followed 2021’s superb Woman On The Internet, which was nominated for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year, hit No.3 in the charts here, and went Top 10 in the UK. In addition to her solo career, she’s also made waves as a member of the indie-pop supergroup FIZZ, who released their self-titled album in 2023.

LISA O’NEILL
Across five albums, Lisa O’Neill has carved out a unique presence as both an innovator of exciting new sounds, and a champion of the deepest, most authentic roots of folk music. The Cavan-raised, Dublin-based artist’s approach has resonated hugely with fans around the world – with Lisa having performed on BBC Two’s Later… With Jools Holland and NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series among other prestige platforms, in addition to scoring praise from Margot Robbie (for her track ‘All The Tired Horses’), and, most recently, being invited onstage to sing with The Libertines. Her latest acclaimed album, All Of This Is Chance, was released on Rough Trade Records in 2023.
